DFWA Nite Hike (Lake Lewisville)

Join DFWA for a Nite Hike through the jungles of Lake Lewisville. The hike is about 3 miles long. Highland Village Shopping Center is nearby for an early bite to eat or to take in a movie before the event. Park staff have reported seeing an eight foot alligator in the area!

DFWA Fee to all participants is $2 cash per person (Pay the Pig).

Meet at Pilot Knoll Park: Google Map
Near 220 Orchard Hill Road, Highland Village
Meet just inside gate but before park office.

Participants Should Bring:
- Cash, Print out of Map (above).
- Water (At least 1 Quart)
- Flashlight with fresh batteries.
- Good hiking shoes or boots.
- Bug Repellant. Reflective Clothing.

Highly Recommended:
- Small First Aid Kit, Compass / GPS, Whistle.
- Camelbak Hydration System.

Minors (10+) are welcome if avid hikers.
Parents must remain with minors at all times.
Pets are not due to hazards and narrow trails.

Difficulty (1:Easy - 5:Hard): Rated 2 depending on weather.
Length of Event: Evening approximately 2-3 hours.
Environment: Dark, Snakes, Poison Ivy, Mosquitoes, Drop Offs.

Persons who have a poor attendance history or "No Shows"
Must confirm RSVP to DFWA events by posting a comment "I will be there" in the comment section or email to dfw.adventures@gmail.com. All others welcome with RSVP.

Only RSVP if you truly feel that you can attend.
Do not re-post to other event boards or sites.
No smoking near other members of group.
Do not attend if you are sick or have health issues.
No radio or recorded music, guitars are welcome!
No photos, videos or tagging of organizer(s).
